I'm a blog follower! Favorite book... hmm. In this category-ish? "American Wife" by Curtis Sittenfeld. It's a fictional account of first wife Laura Bush's life and it's WONDERFUL. Fun giveaway! :)

Hey, LuLuMae! I am blog follower.. And of the 22 years of my life thus far (after reading countless textbooks and novels), my favorite book has remained Dr. Seuss' HOP ON POP. Not only has the book been useful in my continuously developing interest in lyrical rhymes that are weaved into the complex workings of rap music, but it has also served as a beneficial tool when studying for the verbal section of my GRE exam, in which I scored a whopping 410!
Given his tendency to incorporate vibrant illustrations and simple yet clever phrases into his fictional pieces, Seuss did not disappoint with Hop On Pop. I still remember the countless times my grandmother sat beside me in bed and slowly read to me. Together, we would read the book cover to cover, often followed by reading it at leasts one more time.
Paying tribute to Seuss' artistic genius, the university library at UCSD was named "Geisel" in his honor, and a series of theme park attractions titled "Seuss' Landing" in Orlando, Florida was established.
Hop On Pop has deemed itself an ageless, classic Seuss book for years, and will continue to do so for many years to come. I am interested in the two books that you've listed because I have a special friend that loves literature of that genre! I am unsure as to whether she's read either of them, but a surprise or gift certificate to B&N would definitely make her smile! (I love making her smile)!
P.S. I love your posts as of late.. I am happy you are beginning to fill your life with color, both literally and figuratively! Keep your head up :)

I just found your blog from College Prep! :) So glad that I did...I'm a follower now! My favorite books are the Little House on the Prairie series! Love them! So sweet & simple.
